In 2024, we welcomed 16 interns from top universities across the country to join us for 4 weeks for our first ever Sports, Outdoor Recreation, and Active Lifestyle Internship. From tours with professional sports teams, to in-depth conversations with leaders across the industry, our program focused on learning, teaching, and the growth and career opportunities within this expansive industry.
This year, we’re excited to welcome 14 interns from June 16 to July 11, and would love to have you join us this summer as a guest or speaker. Watch the below to learn more about our internship experience last year, and what you can expect if you choose to join us as a participant this summer!

Weekly Internship Recaps
Week One
In the first week of the internship, our interns toured all of our clubs in Northern California, plus had the opportunity to tour properties like Canyon Ranch with Mark Rivers, KKR, Pebble Beach Resorts, Carmel Valley Ranch, 1440 Multiversity, and ended their week up in Tahoe with a tour of Palisades and Incline Village.

Week Two
From San Diego to Los Angeles, our interns had an incredible second week exploring Southern California! They were joined by leaders in the Sports, Outdoor Recreation, Private Equity, Real Estate, and Hospitality Industries who shared invaluable experience and knowledge through the week, including Monarch Beach, Grand Del Mar, Braemar, Los Angeles Chargers (with a private tour of The Bolt!), LA Kings, the Rams, and many more.

WEEK THREE
Week three focused on tours and insightful discussions about the industry from leaders like Steven Schwartz from Midtown Athletic Club, Kurt Cross, Morgan Stanley, Bay Club Board Members James D. White and Rick Caro, and wrapped up with private tours of the Napa Valley Reserve and Charter Oak in Napa.

WEEK FOUR
As we wrap up an incredible internship, our week four was truly special. Our interns spent time in the Pacific Northwest, and San Francisco, meeting with companies and leaders in the industry like Scott Oki, Eric Resnick, KSL Capital Partners, Nike, The San Francisco Giants, Alterra Mountain Company, our philanthropy partner, Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco, and Bay Club Board Members, Kecia Steelman, President & CEO of Ulta Beauty, and Dave Brandon.
